When
squeegeeing off water be sure to use a clean sponge to dry off
your rubber blade after every pass. |
| 2.
|
Make
sure to machine wash your Golden Glove washer before its first
use to avoid linting on your glass. |
| 3.
|
An
Ettore Golden Glove washer dipped in soap and water and rung
out can also be used to clean your kitchen floor surfaces such
as tile or vinyl. |

It
is a good idea to clean your glass once a month. Water stains
if left long enough can etch into your glass and the only solution
at that point is to replace the entire pane. Try our Water Spot
Remover on your glass that has been left untouched a little
too long. |

|
Use
a Golden Glove Window Scrubber to clean window screens. Saturate
the scrubber in cleaning solution, wash both sides of the screen,
rinse and air dry. |
| 6.
|
Never
clean windows in direct sunlight. The sun will cause the window
cleaning solution to dry more quickly and your result will be
streaking. |
| 7.
|
Use
a sponge to wipe your blade and mop up extra solution. Save
your towel to wipe around the edges. |

|
A
Golden Glove washer on top of a REA-C-H extension pole is the
perfect combination to dust ledges, ceilings and crown molding.
Use an angle adapter for ceiling fans. |

When
cleaning your indoor windows, mirrors and shower doors, begin
by using a spray bottle with 1/2 teaspoon Squeegee-Off solution
per 16 ounces of water. Lay a towel on the windowsill and apply
a small amount of solution to a damp scrubber. Scrub and then
squeegee off. |

|
When
cleaning a sliding glass door, start by scrubbing the top half
of the window and squeegee off letting the water flow to the
bottom half. Then scrub the bottom half of the window and squeegee
across making sure to wipe the blade after each stroke. |

|
Ideally,
you should clean your windows once a month, but if that isnt
possible try every three months to prevent permanent water damage
to your glass. |
| 12.
|
When
applying solution to the window, remember to squeeze out excess
liquid from your scrubber first. Your windows need only a very
thin coat of water on them to squeegee off. |
| 13.
|
Instead
of wiping off your rubber blade each pass, you can do what the
professionals do and tap the squeegee against the
wet glass after each pass to remove excess water. |
| 14.
|
You
can use horizontal or vertical strokes when squeegeeing your
windows, both techniques will give you streak free results,
but always remember to dry your window frame with a lint free
cloth when youre done. |
| 15.
|
Some
professionals change the rubber in their squeegees twice a day
depending on the job. The average homeowner should change their
rubber every year. |

Your
bucket of window cleaning solution should not be sudsy. First
fill your bucket with water then add the Squeegee-Off concentrate.
Doing this rather than adding water to the concentrate will
prevent suds. |
